Position Overview

As a Personal Lines Consultant, you will oversee the comprehensive customer journey for both new and existing clients. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver first-rate support, addressing inquiries, servicing, and retaining current policies while driving sales through effective coordination within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Assist customers over the phone by guiding them through our product range, pricing structures, and terms and conditions.
  • Take responsibility for inquiries, ensuring they are resolved promptly and efficiently.
  • Manage urgent and complex requests received via phone and email.
  • Escalate unresolved issues and keep clients updated on any delays in resolution.
  • Maintain the required quality assurance average across all interactions.
  • Continuously assess turnaround times and quality benchmarks, addressing issues swiftly to improve client service delivery.
  • Accurately and effectively record all customer information.
  • Conclude calls at the point of contact whenever feasible.
  • Send accurate policy documentation to clients within the specified timeframes.
  • Exhibit thorough knowledge of our product offerings, promotional campaigns, rules, and conditions to recommend suitable solutions to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Completed Grade 12
  • Relevant RE/Class of Business certification
  • A formal qualification is advantageous.

Skills:

Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships effectively and deliver exceptional service.

Education:

Relevant educational background that supports the role.
