At Alstom, we're committed to delivering high-quality products and services to our customers. As a Supplier Quality Development Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our suppliers meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement supplier quality development strategies to improve the quality performance of purchased parts and services.
  • Conduct regular reviews of supplier quality performance and provide consolidated views to the commodity manager.
  • Deploy the Supplier Quality Development (SQD) strategy within the commodity and ensure its effective implementation.
  • Deliver off-cycle evaluations of supplier industrial processes and generic and special processes audits.
  • Measure, improve, and sustain quality performance of suppliers.
  • Leverage supplier quality network knowledge to provide support for resolution of critical issues or crises.
  • Contribute to the definition and deployment of SD and SQD tools, methods, and processes.
Requirements:
  • Graduated from Technical and/or Quality Engineering degree.
  • Master's degree level or equivalent.
  • Special Processes qualification for some scopes.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Industry with position such as Quality, Production, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Quality tools experienced (problem solving/Risk management tools).
  • Manufacturing Processes knowledge.
  • Experience in managing global suppliers.
  • Mass production industries (railway, aeronautical, automotive).
  • Supplier Quality.
  • Audits – technics & behavior.
  • Lean manufacturing & six sigma methodologies.
  • Knowledge of IRIS Standard requirements.
  • Knowledge of QMS/EHS/SAFETY.
  • Experience and knowledge in the products of his/her scope.
