Key Responsibilities- Support the OD Strategy: Collaborate with the M&A Manager to deliver the organizational development strategy within the M&A department, focusing on improving initiatives that enhance employee engagement, productivity, and overall business performance.
- Process Improvement: Identify and recommend areas of improvement in departmental processes and procedures, ensuring they are relevant, up-to-date, and reflective of best practices.
- Procedure Development: Write, review, and develop departmental procedures and processes to ensure they are effective, efficient, and aligned with business objectives.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks arising from strategic and operational organizational development plans, projects, and initiatives.
- Employee Engagement: Assist with employee engagement activities, including conducting departmental needs analyses and developing plans to ensure employees have the skills, knowledge, and experience to perform their roles to the highest standard.
- Change Management: Support the delivery of change projects to build on employee and departmental performance, driving efficiencies and improving service delivery.
- Education: Formal tertiary education, preferably in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources-related activities, with a proven track record of identifying company training requirements, planning, and executing development programs.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work logically and systematically. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface and communicate effectively with technical professionals.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English, with the ability to read, write, and speak the language. Afrikaans language skills are advantageous.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license, preferably with a Code 8.
