We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Prudent HR Solutions.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional Quantity Surveyor to take on a challenging role that involves managing construction projects from start to finish. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimates, managing budgets, and ensuring that projects are completed within predetermined timelines and costs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. They will be confident in their ability to interact with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed successfully.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cost Estimation: Prepare and present accurate cost estimates for new construction projects, including all necessary documentation and reports.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and monitored throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contract Administration: Manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring that all terms and conditions are met.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow forecasts, ensuring that projects are funded appropriately.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in quantity surveying, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional development.
