Job Overview

Staff Solutions Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and compliance in our export operations.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Quality Assurance Specialist with a strong background in export audit standards, particularly GlobalG.A.P. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in pack house quality and export audit standards. A valid RSA driver's license and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Email are also essential requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement, measure, and maintain export audit standards, including GlobalG.A.P.
  • Manage farm compliance orchard inspections and residue tests.
  • Ensure product complies to export quality standards.
  • Extensive understanding of the portfolio of fruit quality.
  • Manage all market registration, including special markets and verifications.
  • Compile quality reports: Receive, analyze, and summarize quality control information.
  • Record keeping of relevant documentation.
  • Capturing information, communicate, and follow up on outcomes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years' experience in pack house quality and export audit standards.
  • Export audit standards experience, including Global Gap.
  • Languages: English & Afrikaans.
  • Minimum Grade 12.
  • Valid RSA driver's license.
  • AVCASA (CropLife South Africa) will be an advantage.
  • Computer literate MS Word, Excel, Email.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Self-driven and able to work in a team.
  • Attention to detail and able to follow up and give feedback.
  • Liaise with the responsible person.

Estimated Salary: R250,000 - R350,000 per annum, depending on experience.
