About the Role:

E2E Staffing (PTY) LTD is seeking a skilled Millwright - Electrician with expertise in automated process maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in millwright trade test and a solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine, planned, and breakdown maintenance on machines and equipment, ensuring they operate within the specified parameters.
  • Identify and respond to potential problems and safety hazards, taking prompt action to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Develop and implement a scheduled maintenance plan, adhering to company standards and SAN regulations.
  • Respond quickly to electrical and mechanical breakdowns, diagnosing issues effectively and implementing solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Manage critical spares for various machines, including PLCs, pumps, and drives, ensuring they are readily available for maintenance and repairs.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure all work and repairs align with company standards and SAN regulations.
  • Perform administrative tasks associated with plant maintenance, including opening and closing CMMS work.
  • Develop basic steel structures and train apprentices in various aspects of millwright work.
  • Maintain a 5S System and safe working standards, promoting a clean and organized work environment.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment to ensure they operate efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12) and Millwright Trade Test certification.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in plant maintenance, preferably in an automated process environment.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety principles.
  • Proficiency in PLC fault finding and ability to perform various types of welding.
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings, electrical drawings, and single-phase and three-phase electrical equipment.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to work independently.
  • Good communication skills and basic computer skills.
  • Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required by the operational needs of the company.
