Job Title: Human Resources Professional

We are seeking an experienced HR Officer to join our team at Objective Personnel. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled professional to take on a challenging role and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

About the Job:

This position will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems, providing counselling on policies and procedures, and being actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads, and managing the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schooling Qualification and Training: Matric certification or equivalent is mandatory; a suitable HR-related qualification would be advantageous.
  • Work Experience: Proven experience as an HR officer, administrator, or other HR position.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Familiarity with HR functions, including pay and benefits, recruitment, training, and development, as well as understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office.
Duties and Tasks:
  • Develop and Implement HR Initiatives: Support the management of the human resources department by developing and implementing HR initiatives and systems.
  • Counselling Services: Provide expert advice and support to employees on company policies and procedures.
  • Recruitment Support: Assist with the recruitment process by preparing job descriptions, posting job advertisements, and managing the interview process.
  • Onboarding Programmes: Create and implement effective onboarding plans to ensure new employees settle into their roles quickly and efficiently.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programmes to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • BEE and Skills Development: Assist with compliance related to Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) and Skills Development.
  • Performance Management: Assist with the performance management processes to ensure employees meet their targets and goals.
  • Disciplinary Procedures: Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • Employee Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including attendance and EEO data.
  • Compliance Review: Conduct regular reviews to ensure employment and working conditions comply with legal requirements.
