The Head of Credit Innovation and Digital Change is a pivotal role at Old Mutual, requiring an individual to drive strategic changes, process enhancements, and technology implementations to optimize credit risk management practices.

Role Overview

This position involves leading and overseeing all aspects of change initiatives within the credit risk domain. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a comprehensive change management strategy aligned with the credit risk function's goals, identifying key stakeholders, and creating tailored communication plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive strategic changes, process enhancements, and technology implementations to optimize credit risk management practices.

  • Implement best practices and industry standards.
  • Work closely with supporting chapters (engineers, solution architects, etc.) to introduce new risk management systems or enhance existing ones.
  • Ensure smooth adoption of technology solutions by credit risk teams.
  • Provide training and support.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, or related fields.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in credit analysis or underwriting.
  • Familiarity with credit risk models and financial ratios.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., SAS Python, R) and data manipulation tools.
