Chief Financial Officer

A highly experienced and skilled Chief Financial Officer is required to join our client's Executive Management team in The Middle East. As a key member of the team, the CFO will report to the CEO and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of The Group and all branches.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor accounting processes, policies, and procedures in accordance with SOCPA and IFRS.
  • Ensure timely tax/zakat filing and resolve any issues related to pending Zakat assessments.
  • Review and analyze financial data, monitor expenditure, forecast revenue, and coordinate auditing processes.
  • Work with the CEO and other executives to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process.
  • Advises the CEO on matters such as effective use of resources and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
  • Develop and monitor the company's strategic financial planning and budgeting in coordination with the CEO.
  • Oversee investment of funds and work with investment bankers to raise additional capital required for expansion.
  • Ensure effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with Saudi Arabia regulations and applicable local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
  • Ensure effective external Audits & Reviews, with a view to meet all regulatory requirements and deadlines; and compliance to all relevant regulations & best practices.
  • Monitor cash flow of the company at all times for better cash/fund management.
  • Apply Zero based budget techniques and ensure budgeting process is being followed for annual budget preparation.
  • Review active contracts to ensure necessary action and apply contract risk management from finance standpoint.
  • Implement & monitor internal controls ensuring Fraud risk management and control.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or relevant major.
  • 10+ Years of Experience in 360 Financial Management.
  • CIMA or relevant accreditation highly advantageous.
  • Gulf Experience is highly advantageous.
