Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team at HRBEE SOLUTIONS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Group's financial team and take responsibility for the overall financial function of the Group.
  • Participate in and set the strategic direction of the Group, devising and implementing the strategy, goals, and targets for the financial function.
  • Build relationships with relevant stakeholders, including Shareholders, Bankers, Auditors, Regulatory Authority, and peers across the Bidvest Services Division.
  • Maintain and improve financial systems, procedures, processes, and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal obligations.
  • Ensure the Finance Team delivers in line with specific deadlines, including Group Financial Reports, Year-End Financials, Internal Audit Information, External Audit Compliance, Budgets, Risk Reports, Tax Submissions, and Sustainability Reports.
  • Drive and maintain tax compliance throughout the Group, including VAT, PAYE, ETI, Learnership Allowances, and Company Tax.
  • Fulfil fiduciary duties as a Director on the Board and provide advice and support to the board and CEO on strategic objectives.
  • Manage processes for forecasts, budgets, and preparation of all financial reporting, and manage working capital.
Requirements:
  • Relevant Financial qualification at an appropriate level for the seniority of the position.
  • Extensive experience in all aspects of the financial function, including tax management and company restructuring.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management, and administrative skills.
  • Proven track record in building and leading a team, meeting deadlines, and delivering under pressure.
  • Driver's licence and own transport, clean credit and criminal record.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Chartered Accountant qualification (CA.SA).
  • Previous experience as a Chief Financial Officer or similar position.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, engineering, or output-based industries.
