Job Description

The role of Communication Designer is a key position within our organisation, responsible for creating engaging visual content and driving brand strategy. If you have a passion for storytelling, design, and creativity, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Development: Develop and maintain our brand identity to ensure consistency across all channels.
  • Campaign Creation: Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualise and design innovative campaigns that drive engagement and conversion.
  • Visual Content: Create high-quality visual content, including product imagery, data visualisation, and animations, to support internal and external communication.
  • User Experience: Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, growth, marketing, and leadership, to ensure alignment on messaging and visuals.
  • Creative Direction: Contribute to the overall creative direction of the brand, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Process Improvement: Streamline workflows by contributing to the management of design tools, templates, and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3-7 years of professional experience in communication, brand, or graphic design. Startup experience is a plus.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of work and demonstrating the use of design thinking methodologies, including branding, digital campaigns, and visual storytelling.
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects is a plus).
    • Strong understanding of typography, layout and colour.
    • Experience with motion graphics and video editing is a plus.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Mindset:
    • A strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling and design.
    • Able to balance creativity with business goals and user needs.
    • Proactive, collaborative, and eager to thrive in an agile environment.
    • High attention to detail with a willingness to learn the inner workings of a complex product ecosystem.
  • Education: Degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
