Our client, a leading hygiene and sanitation solutions provider, is seeking a Sales Growth Consultant to join their team in Gauteng. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive new business development by calling on large corporate clients, as well as having a hand in marketing strategy.

The ideal candidate will have exposure to manufacturing, agricultural, and food processing sectors, as well as an understanding of food safety regulations.

Duties:

  • Identify new markets and customer needs to ensure value-added service.
  • Promote the company's products through effective sales strategies.
  • Achieve daily and weekly call ratios to ensure targets are met.
  • Manage purchase analysis, customer segmentation, product, and service analysis to improve sales performance.
  • Improve and maintain the standard of service by analyzing sales data and statistics.
  • Build market position by defining and closing business relationships with new customers.
  • Provide assistance with implementing suggested plans and strategies to increase sales.
  • Create and present sales strategies to effectively promote the company's products.
  • Follow up with regular meetings with both active and prospective clients to build strong relationships.
  • Develop your own customer database to enhance sales opportunities.
  • Negotiate sales and clinch business deals by utilizing excellent communication skills.
  • Initiate invoicing & payment processes to ensure timely payments.
  • Conduct handing over of new contracts to operations to ensure seamless execution.
  • Send weekly and monthly reports to the Line Manager to track progress.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in sales, preferably in the hygiene and cleaning chemical industry.
  • Hunter personality with excellent client relationship building skills.
  • General business exposure with ability to analyze sales data and statistics.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to close business deals.
