We are seeking a highly skilled Building Services Engineer to join our team at Sydsen Uthintane (Pty) Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering high-performance building solutions.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Design and develop integrated building services, including mechanical, electrical, and public health systems.
  • Oversee the installation and maintenance of building systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of MEP designs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, industry standards, and health & safety codes.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • A degree in Building Services Engineering or a related field (a Master's is an advantage).
  • Preferably chartered or warranted engineer status.
  • Experience in designing and managing complex building service projects.
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency, sustainability, and regulatory compliance.
  • Familiarity with LEED/BREEAM accreditation is a plus.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Revit, Hevacomp, and other engineering software.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented mindset with a collaborative team approach.
