Expert Network Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Expert Network Security Specialist to join our team at iOCO Infrastructure Services.

Your Role:

  • Provide exceptional customer satisfaction, interaction, and engagement as a key member of our team.
  • Develop strong relationships with management and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate in-depth understanding of TCP/IP and networking protocols.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain OSPF, QoS, and Multicast technologies, as well as BGP.
  • Design and implement Layer 2 and 3 networking solutions, including STP, VLANs, port channel/Ether channel technology, and dynamic routing protocols.
  • Promote the adoption of Fortinet SD-WAN technologies.
  • Utilize various tools such as Protocol Analyzer, IPAM, RADIUS, and Wireshark for network analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Develop automation scripts using Python and ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Effectively communicate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders and escalate them to relevant vendors when necessary.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and automation of tasks.
  • Cultivate expertise in Incident and Problem Management processes and develop effective strategies for resolving complex network issues.
  • Mentor colleagues and peers on advanced networking concepts and best practices.

Your Expertise:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Technology Networks and/or network security.
  • Advanced knowledge of switching, routing, and related technologies.
  • Proficiency in FortiGate firewalls and Fortinet security appliances.
  • Experience in change/configuration management, testing, documentation, and implementation processes.
  • Solid technical support and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to maintain complex network and security systems.
  • Technical expertise in managing internal and external DNS services.
  • Knowledge of SSL certificate management.
  • Understanding of network performance evaluation and optimization techniques.
  • Automation skills for network functions and duties.

Qualifications Required:

  • Fortinet NSE6 and NSE7 certifications are advantageous.
  • Aruba Certified Switching Professional (ACSP) certification is desirable.
  • CCNP Enterprise certification will be considered an asset.
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator certification will be considered an advantage.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect: Associate certification will be considered beneficial.

Working Conditions:

  • This role requires working in a team environment supporting a customer with a 24/7/365 operation.
  • Must have own transportation and be available on-call.
  • Hybrid work arrangement, with onsite work at the client location three days a week.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
