Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the success of our tax pack solution, working closely with the engineering team, clients, and stakeholders to drive product direction. Key responsibilities include collaborating with users to understand their needs, creating and maintaining the product backlog, managing bug fixes and enhancements, and attending product advisory board meetings.

As a Tax Automation Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to utilize your knowledge of tax submissions and technology to automate processes and improve efficiency. Your expertise in MS Office Product Suite, eFiling, and ONESOURCE or similar tax pack solutions is essential. Experience in tax management, preferably in a large corporate submitting income tax returns, is also required.

Our ideal candidate has advanced knowledge of MS Office Product Suite, experience with eFiling, and at least 3-4 years of tax management experience. You should be able to see the potential of using technology to change and better the way tax processes are done.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A good understanding of the income tax submissions and supporting schedules for SARS.
  • The ability to prioritize effectively and work autonomously.
  • In-depth, working knowledge of South African accounting and tax principles and legislation specifically for Income tax.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
