We are seeking a highly skilled Mid-level to Senior Digital Designer to join our growing team at The Talent Barn. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the overall creative vision of the company and bring innovative ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the head of design and marketing team to develop concepts and assets for various channels, campaigns, and marketing materials.
  • Work closely with the design team to create engaging content for social media, newsletters, print media, and in-house collateral.
  • Effectively interpret client briefs to deliver high-quality assets that meet campaign objectives and adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Edit, resize, and refresh supplied artwork to client specifications.
  • Maintain organized design files and assets for easy accessibility and future reference.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant design and advertising trends, introducing fresh ideas and concepts that elevate creative content.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of the brand identity.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification or National Diploma in Graphic Design/Visual Communications.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a graphic design/creative role.
  • Familiarity with designing for social media and digital platforms, and relevant best practices.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Experience in other creative tools, such as animation, video editing, UX/UI, and AI.
  • All-rounder with a solid foundation of design principles.
  • Strong understanding of typography and an eye for composition.
  • Attention to detail with a dedication to maintaining a consistently high standard of artwork produced.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • An understanding of copywriting for social media is advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of print production processes and materials.
  • Time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A flexible approach, capable of adapting to shifting priorities as needed.
  • The ability to work independently, with a high level of personal accountability.
