Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce access control measures to prevent unauthorized access to university premises.
  • Patrol the area to detect and prevent potential security threats.
  • Respond to emergency situations in a timely and effective manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all members of the university community.

Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (e.g. criminology, law enforcement).
  • Valid PSIRA registration and Grade C Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) registration.
  • Computer Literacy (Basic Microsoft Packages).
  • Clearance record from South African Police Services.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in security services.
  • A level of medical, psychological, and physical fitness commensurate with the inherent requirements of the position.
