**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Millwright Specialist to join our team at Jean Fowlds Consultancy. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing manufacturing activities, ensuring efficient production processes, and maintaining a high level of quality control.

• **Plan and Coordinate Manufacturing Activities:** Develop and implement plans to achieve production targets, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources effectively.
• **Optimize Production Processes:** Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
• **Maintain Equipment and Machinery:** Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations of various equipment and machinery, including pumps, electric motors, fans, blowers, compressors, gearboxes, pipes, valves, actuators, electrical control gear, instrumentation systems, flow meters, level control instruments, wiring of panels, and lay of cables.
• **Manage Rigging Operations:** Set up and operate various types of rigging, such as hoists, cables, chains, cranes, and pulleys, to move, locate, and/or relocate equipment.
• **Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues:** Read and interpret drawings, schematics, P&IDs, OEM, and O&M manuals to diagnose problems and implement corrective actions.
• **Document and Record Activities:** Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including job cards, maintenance schedules, and inventory management.
• **Lead and Manage a Team:** Supervise a small team of technical assistants, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective team performance.

• **Education:** Matric certificate and a recognized Millwright Trade Certificate.
• **Experience:** At least 4-6 years of post-qualification experience in a manufacturing environment, with a solid track record of achievements.
• **Skills:** Multi-skilled in Fitting and Basic Electrical, with a strong understanding of SCADA and PLC systems, electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, pneumatics, and utilities experience in a factory plant environment.
• **Certifications:** Valid driver's license and own transport required.
