Job Title: Solution Strategist

Description:

As a Solution Strategist at FirstRand Bank Limited, you will play a crucial role in providing specialist solution advice and designing solutions that meet the needs of our clients. Your expertise will be essential in coordinating the implementation of these solutions, managing project implementation across relevant business units, and ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service that exceeds their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement solutions that prevent losses resulting from incorrect business solutions.
  • Manage costs and expenses within approved budgets to achieve cost efficiencies.
  • Deliver innovative and proactive solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with stakeholders, including end-users, SMEs, project managers, and senior staff members.
  • Execute or provide assistance with pricing and costing of solutions or business cases.
  • Provide advice and assistance in formulating and presenting new business or client solutions or proposals to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain knowledge on relevant legislative amendments and industry best practices.
  • Formulate solutions in response to business vision, mission, and objectives, product house, and customer requirements.
  • Design solutions that best meet the needs of our clients and coordinate the implementation of these solutions.
  • Investigate new solution development and enhancements and assist with preparation of business cases.
  • Participate in industry initiatives to ensure standards are set and adhered to.
  • Design, develop, and implement banking solutions that comprise products from across the FirstRand Group.
  • Obtain a thorough analysis of the client's business, process, and systems requirements.
  • Translate strategies into actionable goals and execute relevant projects or initiatives aligned to strategic objectives.
  • Implement and maintain sound business processes that minimize FNB risk and deliver quality requirements specifications.
  • Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements.
