Medical Sales Representative Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Sales Representative to join our team at MedE Recruit. As a Medical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting our medical products to healthcare professionals and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Engagement:
    • Schedule and conduct meetings with potential and existing customers to present and promote our medical products.
    • Identify customer needs and recommend the most suitable company products.
  • Sales & Relationship Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers through excellent after-sales service.
    • Strategically negotiate sales terms to close deals and achieve sales targets.
  • Market Research & Reporting:
    • Stay informed about market trends and product developments by attending industry events, training sessions, and company meetings.
    • Research competitors' products, pricing strategies, and market performance.
    • Prepare and submit detailed sales reports, territory analyses, and purchase orders to management.
  • Compliance & Product Knowledge:
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical legislation and clinical data to understand their impact on company sales.
    • Deepen your understanding of our product portfolio and clinical data.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Education:
    • A Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Medical Office Management, Nursing, or a related field is preferred.
    • Certified Sales Professional (CSP) certification is advantageous.
  • Experience:
    • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in medical sales, particularly in medical devices.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
    • Excellent organisational, administrative, and consultative sales skills.
    • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
    • Exceptional customer service orientation.
    • Computer literacy and expertise in filing and documentation management.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • A valid driver's license and access to a car.
Salary:

R R % commission (must meet targets of R

5% of = R50 000
