About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Life Orientation Teacher to join our team at Curro Holdings Ltd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, controlling, recording, and reporting on assessments for the FET phase. They will also attend meetings, forums, and workshops as required, create an educational atmosphere in the classroom, and take responsibility for school equipment and stock.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in teaching Life Orientation, current SACE registration, and IEB experience. They will also have a clear criminal record and a personal commitment to education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and control assessments for the FET phase.
  • Attend meetings, forums, and workshops as required.
  • Create an educational atmosphere in the classroom.
  • Take responsibility for school equipment and stock.
Requirements
  • An appropriate academic and professional education qualification from a recognised institution.
  • Relevant experience in teaching Life Orientation.
  • Current SACE registration.
  • IEB experience.
  • A clear criminal record.
