Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled QHES Manager to join our team at Mechanical Engineering OEM East Rand. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, establishing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) and Environment Health & Safety Management System (EHS) in line with the applicable requirements of the Group.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the planning, establishment, implementation, and maintenance of the QMS and EHS, ensuring full alignment with the applicable requirements of the Group.
  • Ensure that regulatory requirements, when applicable, affecting quality and EHS are observed, advised, and implemented.
  • Proactively support Management, Sales, Engineering, and Support Teams towards achieving the company strategic direction and business results.
  • Support management, Process Owner, and Managers ensuring alignment with customers required standards towards achieving customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years management experience, preferably in the role as a Quality Manager, within an international organisation.
  • Work experience in Risk Management.
  • IT MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 International standards.
  • 10 years active experience in the implementation, coordination, and improvement of an organisation's Quality Management and EHS Management systems.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Risk Management.
