Inventory Analyst

**Minimum Qualifications and Experience**:
Valid Matric Senior Certificate.

**Experience and Required Skills**:

- Inventory control and optimization knowledge an advantage.
- Advanced level of computer literacy (Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel).
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing with a second language being an advantage).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- 3-5 years’ experience in managing and controlling inventory.
- Must be able to display a high degree of autonomy in daily tasks.

**Tasks**:

- Compile spreadsheets on monthly stock projections together with estimated expenditure.
- Track monthly expenditures to keep in line with budgets.
- Update daily metal movements and record historical metal prices.
- Oversee batch orders both monthly top-ups and forecasts.
- Compile slow and non-mover reports.
- Manage new cable scrapping procedure.
- Keep track of stock movements in new branches.
- Meet with suppliers weekly to update manufacturing and delivery schedules in order to keep stock deliveries on track.

**Key Performance Areas**:

- Executing stock replenishment batches.
- Calculating stock holding projections.
- Compiling spreadsheets for inventory analysis.
- Reporting to senior management on stock holding.
- Liaising with suppliers.
- Maintaining historical data and providing comparative analysis.
