We are looking for a qualified Technician. The person must have the ability to Test, Fault-Find, Log-in failures and update job status on Shop orders. Work agile and contribute where it’s necessary. The person must be able to travel occasionally.

Your role- To ensure continuous adherence to all policies, procedures and production standards.-
- Ability to Test, Fault-find, Log in failures, rectify/adjust and update job status on ERP Shop orders ensuring that delivery due dates are met.-
- Testing and fault finding of complete units (LRU) and sub modules (SRU) up to assembly level.-
- Testing and fault finding of analogue and digital circuitry up to component level.-
- Planning and execution of production test schedules.-
- Test all products as per relevant test procedures.-
- Perform quality checks and functional testing of production assemblies and PCB spares.-
- Generate feedback information, highlighting technical problems encountered on equipment for corrective action to be taken.-
- Support the Team leader in meeting departmental goals.-
- Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies and procedures, health & safety, and environmental compliance.-
- Observing and maintaining shelf life of materials, 5's, ESD, FOD and other lean and manufacturing principles.-
- Ability to use processes and procedures as documented in executing Testing of parts i.e. SRU's and LRU's.-
- Ensure proper use and safekeeping of tools, test equipment and special jigs used in execution of duties-
- Create MRB’s in system when any failures/blockers are experienced.-
- Ability to perform electro-mechanical sub and final assemblies of products using applicable Assembly Instructions or other documentation-
- Identifies any problems and potential solutions and troubleshoots the issues using technical knowledge in a methodical manner-
- Ensure that all testing equipment is appropriately calibrated-
- Delivery Deadline driven with customer focus-
- Adjust or replace defective or improperly functioning circuitry or electronics components, using relevant tools-
- Maintain inventory of job materials/consumables and floor stock.**Profile**:
The person must be output focused to ensure that customer deliveries are met. Be a team player to support the Manager and Team Leader in meeting departmental goals in terms of quality, performance, cost and timeous deliveries.

Required Knowledge and Experience:
- 5 - 10 years of related practical experience in an agile environment-
- 10 or more years’ experience in PCB fault-finding and Electronic Equipment sub-assemblies and final product assembly and testing-
- Experience in software programming will be advantageous.-
- Ability to read blueprints, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions for assembling electronic units. Record data on testing results.-
- Understands and applies configuration processes.Achieves and maintains a high level of technical and professional skills/knowledge in job-related areas. Keeps abreast of current developments and trends in their area of expertise. Achieves required results in specific technical/professional areas.-
- Must be able to understand the functionality of Test Equipment/Instrumentation and utilize them in Testing & fault-finding of SRU (Shop Replaceable Units) and LRU (Line Replaceable Units).-
- Must be able to adhere to the Company’s Standard Work Processes and give feedback to improve and execution thereof.-
- Ability to read electronic circuit diagram, analyses and use it for fault finding. Logical and systematic analysis of circuitry.Knowledge of ERP systems, 5S, FOD, Digital and Analog Applications**Required Skills**:
- Actively supports and assist others to solve work problems to achieve team objectives-
- Provides team with support on technical issues and makes technically sound recommendations-
- Proactive engagement with all stakeholders as and when required-
- Strong interpersonal and communication skillsQualification:
- National Diploma / BTech / Electronic/Electrical Engineering or Equivalent-
