- **Qualifications/Experience**_

Matric (essential)

Computer literate: MS Excel and MS Word (advantageous)

Knowledge of working with Electrical and pneumatic tools

Working with hand tools

Able to read and understand technical drawings

Overhead crane training

1-year Bystronic CNC Bending experience

Being able to lift heavy materials continuously
- **Duties**_

Setting and operating CNC Bystronic bending machines

Condition of all jigs forms part of your daily responsibility

Reporting of machines problems to the Section head

Identify problems and report to Section Head

Reporting first off to team leader to assure tolerance in accordance to drawing accuracy

Signing of drawings when complete

Pre-planning according to schedule to ensure mínimal downtime

It’s your responsibility to ensure that all tooling not is use are sent back to storeroom

All jobs processed must be done according to supplied schedule unless otherwise explained by the Section Head

Ensure that jobs completed are sent to the next department immediately

Always wear the appropriate prescribed PPE

Always be safety cautious

Ensure work methods are accurate and safe

Assist with training of the operators to ensure they are on standard

Assist with the planning of parts required and fetching of parts as needed

Manage and monitor all quality and quantity produced from your machine

Make sure correct program on correct machine

Inform section head of faulty programming

Check programs and drawings for revisions

Booking in\out of correct tooling from tool store

No changing of programs on machine nor self-programing

Cleaning tools while bending and after bending

Workstation area must be clean and organized at all times

Bending performance sheets And Maintenance checklist to be completed before and after shift end
