Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Attend to logged calls as requested
- Perform site surveys, read, and use blueprints and floor plan and conduct visual site inspections
- Inspected installation sites to determine material requirements
- Install Wireless access points and link to controllers
- Complete required paperwork
- Meeting with customer to review projects and providing customer with updates when required
- Conduct thorough inspections of cable lines to ensure the system is working correctly
- Install, maintain, and repair cable systems, most often involved with infrastructure services
- Installing of new data cables
- Maintain existing data cables
- Keep cable neatly tied and bundled while maintaining safety standard

Desired Experience & Certifications
- Valid drivers’ license and own reliable transport
- Certifications in Molex, Krono and/or Fibre
- 4+ years of experience in cabling (installation, maintenance, repairs)
- Speak, read and write English
- Unifi or Cambium Certification beneficial
- 3+ Years installing Wireless AP's (Installing, Maintaining, Troubleshoot)

- License

Pay: R8,000.00 - R16,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pretoria, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
