**Purpose of the Job**:
The purpose of the SAP Access Administrator II is to provide efficient system administrative support, ensuring accurate and timely SAP Access provisioning of relevant systems and tools to the Shoprite Group store and distribution center users. This includes monitoring and evaluating business requests, executing system roles standardization to ensure alignment with Shoprite Group governance, and mitigating business exposure to risks.
This role leverages the SAP GRC Access Control (GRC) toolset to execute role administration and user access provisioning functions, managing, and monitoring rapid and large scale systems user movements between stores and distribution centres within the Shoprite Group. Additionally, the SAP Access Administrator II applies IT incident support knowledge to efficiently manage and resolve issues or escalate them to relevant process stakeholders for resolutions.
As part of the SAP Security and Authorization team, the SAP Access Administrator II plays a crucial role in preventing and identifying access and authorization risks in cross enterprise SAP systems to prevent fraud and reduce the cost of continuous compliance and control.

**Job Objectives**:
Monitor access requests and collaborate with additional support functions, such as the Service Desk, to verify and update access requests, as well as assign user groups and roles promptly.
Conduct SAP access risk analysis to identify any potential risks and liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure that approved requests do not introduce access risks into the environment. Implement optimal mitigation strategies for identified risks.
Verify that the position applied for aligns with the User's position as documented in SAP HR.
Process user access termination requests promptly and accurately on the SAP Access Control system, including ensuring the submission of relevant supporting information.
Simplify and standardize Authorization Roles within the SAP environment to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Maintain proper alignment and synchronization of access profiles for Business roles.
Serve as a liaison between Business and Technical Teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
Provide supportive assistance in business solution and development activities within the SAP environment.
Offer 1st and/or 2nd level support for tracking and resolving incidents on the Remedy/Helix Incident Management system, ensuring timely communication and resolution in accordance with SLAs.
Educate and communicate clear requirements to the business, assisting in enhancing understanding and adherence to submission standards by providing necessary templates and guidance.

**Qualifications**:
Matric/ Grade 12 certification.
Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Information Systems, Technical Support or related field.

**Experience**:
+4 Years' experience in general IT operations/support services or similar role with knowledge and practical experience providing administrative support to SAP Users in a retail context.
Demonstrated practical understanding of incident escalations and efficient resolutions through SLAs.
Solid SAP knowledge within the context of supporting incidents.
Basic understanding of general business (Stores and Distribution Centers) system user context.
