**Cost Controller (JB2747)**

**R20 000 - R25 000 per month**

**Minimum Requirements**
Previous experience in a similar function, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft packages essential (Word, Excel, Outlook) essential.
Experience in financial processes relating to ordering, stock, stock takes and other related processes.
To work outside normal working hours when required.
Month end requires overtime (which can be claimed back as off days).

**Responsibilities**
To ensure that goods received are of the quality and quantity ordered and in accordance with the
agreed price.
To ensure the timeous and correct completion of all administration in respect of deliveries.
Where necessary, assist the Heads of Departments to order goods and/or services upon request
via the procurement system.
To liaise with the HODs in order to ensure that all items are stored correctly.
To assist departments with month-end stocktakes and maintenance of stock sheets.
Attending random stock takes and ensuring company policies are adhered to (provide training
where necessary).
Negotiate with suppliers to ensure we are procuring at the best possible prices, quality and
quantities for all businesses.
Ensure that procurement is done in line with the company policies regarding BBBEE.
Pre-opening procedures (menu’s, stock items, vendors) - when applicable.
To assist with processing of financial information as, and when required.
To perform all further tasks aimed at improving the cost control and procurement elements of the
business.
To report on daily spend per department.
