**Objective**:To assist the Warehouse Manager in complete control and management of all operational requirements to ensure an efficient supply chain service to internal and external customers

**Duties**:
**Operational Activities**:

- Operational Workflow
- Monitor the timeous and accurate receipt, put-away, drop down, picking and handover of stock to checking, despatch and courier(Receiving to Dispatch workflow)
- Monitor and Control required drop downs as per order entry requirements
- Respond to and action contingencies with coordinators in each area when required
- Ensure order prioritization for the timeous dispatch of normal, urgent and overnight
- orders
- Monitor and manage orders for direct load consolidation (on site or coupled with other branches) with the courier for maximum efficiency and cost saving on deliveries
- Provide Excellent Customer Service (internal and external)
- Communicate Department outputs to staff
- Housekeeping
- Ensure housekeeping is adhered to and all working areas are clean and tidy
- Report non-conformances.
- Inventory Control
- Control Warehouse with regard to handling and storage of stock
- Ensure all Inventory / Order delivery queries are promptly responded to and investigated
- thoroughly with outcomes
- Ensure GIT report is controlled and all entries are accounted for and accurate
- Control and monitor the Warehouse Damages
- Ensure Cycle Counts are regularly conducted for Warehouse accuracy, ensure high risk locations are counted monthly
- File all documentation for easy reference
- General
- Order stationery / IT supplies / equipment
- Assist with stock audit trail reports for various departments

**Management**
- Manage departmental financial, SHE, HR and GDP/GWP responsibilities and activities
- Plan, lead, allocate and manage departmental activities, resources and tasks in accordance with agreed budgets, service/delivery targets and daily/weekly/monthly plans
- Establish and maintain appropriate systems for operational management and measurement
- Develop and implement continuous improvement plans and actions
- Manage departmental absenteeism

**Financial**
- Set Annual Budgets and Quarterly Forecasts
- Meet output requirements, while containing expenditure
- Meet targets on yields and write-offs
- Ensure capital expenditure plans are met
- Ensure control and approval of expenses in accordance with the company approvals framework
- Control all inventory in area of responsibility
- Ensure annual stock stakes meet control requirements

**Human Resources (Engaging in people practice)**
- Promote diversity, equal opportunity and fair treatment in the workplace
- Manage staff performance through the Company Performance Management program
- Manage staff succession through the company succession planning program

**GDP/GWP**
- Comply with GDP / GWP requirements as outlined by company SOP’s and written instructions in all tasks and activities
- Ensure that products are stored according to the required SOP’s and documentation
- Complete all records and reports timeously and accurately as described in the relevant SOP’s, protocols and associated documentation.
- Ensure that the required resources, systems and SOP’s are reviewed, authorised and are regularly monitored, adapted and improved to ensure compliance to GDP / GWP regulations / standards
- Ensure that environment (facilities and equipment) are maintained to GDP / GWP standards
- Ensure that the initial and continuing departmental personnel training is carried out and recorded
- Ensure that records are correct before being sent to the Quality Department
- Investigate and initiate corrective actions for all quality deficiencies

**Health, Safety and Environmental Standards**
- Carry out any duty or requirement imposed on the company by the OHS Act and in accordance with your specific SHE appointment
