Our client is currently seeking a talented Tele fundraising Expert to join their dynamic Fundraising team. As a Tele-Fundraiser, you will play a crucial role in engaging individuals over the phone and securing long-term support through debit orders. Your ability to captivate and motivate people will drive their mission forward and create lasting change.

In this part-time role, you will have the flexibility to work **three days a week between Monday and Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m**. We understand that success doesn't always fit within a traditional schedule, so occasional **irregular working hours **may be required with the agreement of your line manager.

**Criteria of employment**:

- Completed Tertiary education
- Min 2 years sales (**cold calling**) experience required
- Call Centre experience is an advantage
- Have the ability to inspire people through outstanding verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Superb written and spoken communication skills in English and one other official South African language
- Unshakable drive and self-motivation to succeed and build your career
- A self-starter, keen, ambitious and hungry to get results
- Proactive, organised and obsessed with sales
- Effective at time management
- Have a strong work ethic, be target motivated and work well under pressure
- Passion for nature and conservation an advantage
- Ability to work remotely as and when required

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Engage private individuals by telephone to acquire committed debit order donors and supporters.
- Conduct welcome, reactivation, upgrade, and cold acquisition calls.
- Build rapport and trust with potential and existing donors, delivering an exceptional engagement experience and achieving a closing rate of 10%.
- Continuously improve your knowledge of the organization's work and campaigns, ensuring potential donors are well-informed throughout the sales process.
- Utilize provided scripts and guidelines while adapting them to suit the needs and interests of specific donors.
- Manage multiple calling campaigns concurrently.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets set by the organization's Tele fundraising Performance Management Indicators.
- Maintain high-quality standards when interacting with donors, both in terms of quantity and quality.
- Demonstrate commitment, motivation, and enthusiasm in your role.
- Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Accurately and securely record, protect, and report fundraising and donor data.
- Attend regular training, team meetings, and discussions to continuously improve your performance.
