Day and Night Nurse Care Giver

Our client, based in Constantia in the southern suburbs in Cape Town is looking for a day and a night nurse (separate nurses) to provide attentive, compassionate, and skilled care throughout the night and day to support the health and well-being of the patient.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Provide overnight and day care and assistance

2. Monitor the patient's vital signs, medication schedule, and overall well-being

3. Assist the patient with any personal care tasks they may need help with, such as toileting, bathing, and changing.

4. Ensure the patient is comfortable and safe during working hours.

5. Be prepared to respond to any emergencies or issues that may arise during the night.

6. Communicate effectively with the patient's family and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

7. Document and report any significant changes in the patient's condition or behavior.

8. Provide emotional support and companionship.

9. Maintain a clean and organized environment for the patient.

10. Follow all medical protocols and procedures to ensure the patient's health and safety are prioritized.

**Requirements**:
Nurse qualification (enrolled or registered nurse)

Current registration with SANC

Able to administer injections unsupervised

Start Date:
As soon as possible
