**ROLE SUMMARY**

Vision Systems - The incumbent will lead the introduction of all inspections and equipment commissioning for Vision systems in Quality Department. Digitization - The role will also be responsible for leading any FPS or Quality related development, implementation, and commissioning of automated electronic systems to replace previously used paper documents, reports, displays etc.

**POSITION DETAILS**
- Commission current and new Vision system equipment in Quality department.
- Monitor and ensure all Quality Vision Systems are capable, in working condition and maintained.
- Work cross functionally with the Plant Vision system Lead to become an expert on Vision Systems to identify and rectify equipment concerns.
- Proficient with Programmable Logic Controllers and Camera systems.
- Must be able to write and make changes in control software.
- Knowledge of electrical automation systems, variable speed and servo drives and motors.
- Knowledge of basic computer components and networks.
- Knowledge of Profinet and RCOAX Systems.
- Knowledge of Wi-Fi Systems and Network Diagnostics.
- Provide training on new Vision systems to users as and when required.
- Help with and lead all plant FPS digitization projects.
- Work with the digitization Master Trainers to implement better systems and processes quicker.
- Work with the Innovation team to evaluate feasibility and introduce new initiatives as raised by IMG Team.
- Continuously develop and refresh the Quality and FPS SharePoints.
- Ensure all Quality SharePoints comply to GIS standards Provide training on new digitization systems, processes, and products as and when required.

**PERFORMANCE MEASURES/ SUCCESS CRITERIA**
- Always adhere to company safety standards and maintain work practices.
- Continuous improvement of Quality and Manufacturing processes.
- Tracking of uptime, maintenance, and capability of Vision Systems in Quality.
- Tracking of vision system inspections missed in warranty
- Tracking of internal data for vision system inspections

**QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE**
- 3 years National Diploma Mechatronics Engineering (S4) or Degree
- Minimum of 2-3 years, Manufacturing, experience in the manufacturing or automotive industry,
- Formal qualification in IT field with programming experience would be preferred.
- Very Proficient in SQL, Phyton, C++, Industrial Network systems, MS Office, Office 365, Power Apps, MS Forms, Alteryx and SharePoint.
- Experience with AI Vision systems preferred.
- AIS & QLS (Quality Leadership system) Knowledge preferable
- Experience leading and implementing projects across different departments.
