Assisting the Business Distribution Manager in the daily responsibilities of monitoring and supporting the channel end-to-end sales process. Provide support in driving channel sales initiatives in order to meet and exceed stipulated targets through monitoring of and supporting advisors on resolution of existing business issues, while ensuring sales targets are met and the retention of existing business.

- Participates in and contributes to continuous improvement projects for the channel and is a key contact at Absa Life in resolving matters relating to the fully underwritten and investments product suite owned by the channel.
- Participates in innovation solutioning and provides input into problem solving. Contributes by providing alternatives and differing viewpoints as expected from all team members.
- Liaison with Distribution Support Managers, Consultants, Operations, Product Development, Pricing, amongst other areas, to deliver specific product, business as usual and sales outcomes.
- Contributes towards a culture of continuous improvement.
- Sales support and monitoring: Responsible for assisting to drive sales by working closely with distribution support and operations (including Underwriting) and to provide regular reporting of key metrics that show the performance of the channel. Take responsibility for ensuring advisor sales-related issues are resolved by working with Technology support, product and pricing and operations where required.
- Sales activation and campaigns: Assist Channel and Business Distribution Managers to drive sales campaigns and initiatives and ensure that the operational teams are supported throughout the duration of and beyond new campaigns.
- Development and maintenance of relationships: To develop and maintain sound relationships across the business and with distribution partners to ensure support of Sales & Business Development initiatives.
- Tools for business enablement: Providing administrative support across the Sales channels and operational areas, with the relevant training tools and sales aids in order to drive sales.

- 3 years relevant experience
- Experience with financial advisor sales and/or support an advantage
- Risk administration system knowledge an advantage

Higher Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (required)
