**Job Description**:

- You will be responsible for supervising the execution of practical mining skills training and assessment for surface and underground mining skills programmes.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Plan scheduled training in line with the annual training plan, SLP and mining charter requirements with an allocation of resources to the training interventions.
- Plan scheduled for on the job standard operating procedure training and coaching where applicable
- Moderation of assessment plan to be conducted as per the moderation procedure or MQA requirements.
- Adhere to external local compliance requirements as a minimum level of site performance
- Ensures learning material are complying in terms of Mine Health and Safety Act, Occupation Health and Safety Act, Education and all relevant skills development legislation.
- Compliance in terms of MQA and QCTO requirements.
- Operational, legal and safety standards implementation and adherence.
- Adhere to and ensure compliance to relevant Technical Training policies and procedures

**This role is in the Human Resource Development Department at a D1 Level reporting to the HRD Coordinator**
- Qualifications
- Certificate of competence in XLP, ULP & LP machines
- Certified competent as a TMM Operator certification
- NQF 3 Rock Breakers/Blasting Certificate advantageous
- NQF 4 OD ETDP Higher Certificate
- NQF 5 OD ETDP Higher Certificate advantageous
- Assessor certificate
- Moderator certificate advantageous

**You will have need the following experience**:

- At least 3 years TMM Mining experience
- Experience and exposure on the ULP, XLP and LP’s
- Experience within the Narrow Reef and Low Profile (LP) TMM underground environment

**Knowledge/ Skills**
- Basic Computer Literacy
- Understanding of ISO
- Understanding the quality assurance system
- Proficiency in competency modelling and competency assessment
- Driver’s license code 08
- If successful, you will be required to undergo a Medical Fitness Test
