**Job Description

  • Job Description**This role is responsible to execute practical mining skills training and assessment for A1-B7 underground employees including mining skills programmes, executes training and assessment in an unconstrained and constrained area and execution and delivery of Generic Induction.
The maintenance of applicable MQA accreditation criteria in a designated area to ensure competence

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Executed operational mining skills development for competency.
  • Compliance to training and assessment with approved methodology and learning material (learning delivery system).
  • Compliance to the Mine Health and Safety Act.
  • Training resources in compliance with best practice.
  • Compliance in terms of MQA and QCTO requirements
  • Executed and delivered Generic Induction.
  • Progressive reports on predetermined targets for mining skills development.
  • Relationships with relevant stakeholders.

This role is in the HRD department at a Band C3 level reporting to the HRD Officer

  • Qualifications
  • Certificate of competence in 2 Mining Operator occupations.
  • NQF 4 OD ETDP Certificate.
  • Assessor Certificate.

Knowledge, Skills experience required:

  • 3 years Mining experience/ 2 year as HRD Facilitator


 Communication skills
  • English
  • Computer literary will be advantages
