**Job Description: IT Sales & Retention Consultant**

**Location**: Westlands, Nairobi
**Hours**: Full Time

**Role Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Lead Generation**: Identify and qualify potential clients through cold calling, networking, and other lead generation activities such as existing clients referral scheme & marketing campaigns.
- **Pipeline Management**: Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline by managing leads and prospects through the sales cycle.
- **Client Engagement**: Build and nurture relationships with potential clients to understand their needs and present tailored IT solutions.
- **Negotiation**: Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets and contribute to company growth.
- **Market Research**: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the marketing and technical support team to develop bespoke requirements for each prospect client.
- **Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and provide regular reports on sales performance and pipeline status.
- Generate leads via our existing clients as part of our referral scheme
- **Customer Engagement**: Proactively reach out to customers to understand their needs and concerns and provide solutions to enhance their experience.
- **Issue Resolution**: Address customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- **Retention Strategies**: Implement and execute retention strategies to reduce customer churn and increase loyalty. Feedback Collection: Gather and analyse customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and work with relevant departments to implement changes.
- Represent the company as an ambassador, maintaining the high standards of interaction expected from a market-leading brand.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in solution-based selling (IT Support, IT Hardware, Cloud/hosted telephony, VoIP, Connectivity)
- Proven track record of exceeding targets.
- Customer-centric mindset with a positive attitude.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with mid-level and senior decision-makers in SME.
- A born hunter who enjoys building their pipeline
