**Key Purpose**

**Areas of responsibility (Including but not limited to)**

Team Management and Delivery:

- Ensure teams are meeting daily/weekly/monthly milestones
- Drive accuracy and consistency in delivery across the team
- Analyse the impact of business intelligence in line with the scope of work requested by client
- Recommend process improvements where appropriate
- Guides solution space to be as innovative and impact orientated as possible - pushing the boundaries
- Developing strategic insights and leading team problem solving
- Ensuring effective working relationships within teams and with clients
- Build of intellectual capacity and property
- Coaching and developing the team

Stakeholder Engagement and Management:

- Manage client’s expectations
- Cultivate successful and strong client relationships
- Grow the project base through creating a network of appropriate relationships and identify business development opportunities
- Able to identify development areas in client processes and able to recommend applicable strategies
- Drives recommendations to client issues
- Works directly with senior clients building capabilities, problem solving real time
- Structures the project and solution space with the client’s broader agenda in mind
- Has access to wide range of very senior clients and can leverage as an when needed
- Translates client network into new work (including with direct/existing clients)

Collaboration with Business Enablement and support team:

- Assist procurement with data pertaining to billing and invoicing for the client
- Assign company resources to the client
- Work with the Business Development team by providing business intelligence that will lead to increased sales

**Knowledge**:

- Relationship management of multiple stakeholders
- Business analysis
- Process improvement
- Understanding of data and statistics
- Proficient written English
- In-depth understanding of problem solving
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio) to accomplish daily business activities and facilitate communications

**Requirements**:

- Master’s in business administration (MBA)
- An Honours degree in either Mining Engineering or Chemical Engineering
- Membership of professional institutions
- 8+ years of business management, project management or consulting experience
- 3+ experience of working or having consulted for a mining and/or heavy metals plant
- Experience managing a team on a medium-large sized project
- Experience in productivity and profitability management for projects in the Mining and Heavy Metals Industry
