Illovo, South Africa Synergy Kotzen Chartered Accountants Full time

A dynamic and growing firm of accountants and auditors in Illovo Johannesburg are looking for a competent and responsible office administrator and receptionist. This is a permanent, full-time position based in-office. Hours are 8am to 5pm.

Training will be provided where necessary. Knowledge of accounting practices and administration are an advantage but not essential.

Duties include:

- General office administration
- PA to CEO
- Welcoming of clients
- Answering of Switchboard
- Filing
- Updating client information
- Timesheet capturing
- Quotes and invoicing of clients
- Debtors’ management
- Must be willing to learn and be able to pick up systems quickly.
- A positive attitude
- A pro-active assistant with exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills
- The confidence and experience to take initiative.
- Able to find solutions to operational problems.
- A professional, reliable, and accountable team player
- Superior communication skills
- Excellent time management

**Requirements**:

- Working knowledge of Xero Accounting would be an advantage.
- Working knowledge of Xero Practice Manager would be an advantage.
- Working knowledge of Practice Ignition would be an advantage.
- Working knowledge of CIPC e-services would be an advantage
- Own transport and preferably live in the Illovo area or surrounds.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Illovo, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Administrative office procedures, practices and equipment: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)
