This job is not suitable for anyone looking for a standard 9-5 role or purely salaried job and as such, this position comes with generous bonuses and commissions from the outset for anyone that hits and surpasses targets and KPIs.

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking an experienced salesperson to join our team as the Head of Outreach Partnerships and Sales for multiple level publishers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand the client base for multiple level publishers
- Conduct market research and identify potential publishers, including online platforms, independent authors, traditional publishing houses and literary agencies in the UK, Europe, the USA and globally
- Build and maintain strong relationships with publishers, providing them with guidance, support and tailored solutions to meet their specific needs
- Collaborate with internal teams, including the company directors and editorial teams of multiple publishers in the group
- Create compelling sales presentations and proposals, highlighting the benefits and value of partnering with our company
- Negotiate and close deals with publishers, including contract negotiations, pricing and terms and conditions
- Track sales metrics and provide regular reports on progress, achievements and challenges to the management team
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the publishing industry

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales, partnerships and/ or business development, with a focus on the digital space and preferably in the publishing industry
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth
- Strong network of existing clients and connections within the publishing industry, including publishers at various levels
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients
- A basic level of knowledge of the digital publishing landscape, including online platforms, e-books, audiobooks, and self-publishing
- Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools, such as CRM systems, sales analytics platforms and project management software (desired but not essential)
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate the value proposition of our services
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

**Salary**
Starting salary is R18, 000 per month with generous commissions and bonuses for hitting and surpassing targets.

**Salary**: R18,000.00 - R20,000.00 per month
