**Responsibilities**:

- Follow specifications and calculations to create various technical 3D and 2D CAD drawings.
- Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work with CAD system.
- Performing calculations for material and gauge limitations.
- Create 3D cad drawings from rough sketches and to proceed to foldout 2D drawings in format to be Laser ready.
- Systematically saving drawings and keeping CAD server organized.
- Think creatively and critically to create accurate drawings.
- Finish drawings timeously before Job needs to be implemented.
- Finalize CAD nesting to reduce cutting cost, increase cutting time, and save on material.
- Communication skills.
- Operate the Fibre Laser Machine.
- Select and set up Laser lenses based on material type and thickness, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance and cutting quality.
- Knowledge about shield gasses used during laser cutting operation.
- Monitor shield gasses levels in either cylinders or bulk containers.
- Work in fast-paced environment with fast-changing priorities.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Provide great level of attention to detail and task focussed.
- Excellent attendance.
- Follow all company rules and policies.
- Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
- Work with team members and follow orders from management to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Lift raw materials manually or by hoist
- Assemble parts according to Job card to be transferred to next station.

**Requirements**:

- A two year degree in CAD system operations or
- A two three years working experience with CAD related program.
- Math need to be up to standard and to have geometry skills and to do conversions, add, subtract, multiply, divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Outstanding fluency with CAD aided program.
- Knowledge of laser tooling and consumables.
- Distinguish between different materials and gauges.
- Flexible schedule, position required shift work.
- Strong team player.
- Be reliable.
- Be able to do problem solving.
