Our client, a leader in commercial refrigeration, seeks to employ a multi-skilled Draughtsman, with solid experience in developing detailed 3D product designs using CAD systems, generating flat patterns for CAM purposes and managing new product design projects, ideally in the refrigeration or metal shopfitting space.

**Please note that Autodesk Inventor software proficiency is essential, as well as sound knowledge of CAD/CAM and creating bill of materials, manufacture operating procedures, assembly instructions and bending drawings.**

**KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION**

You must be able to work independently and accurately keep records and be proactive in your approach to ensuring the profitability of the company.
- You will have completed Matric, coupled with a qualification in draughting or related field, coupled with 2-5 years experience in draughting in the refrigeration or shop fitting field, using Autodesk Inventor and CAD/CAM.
- You will be proactive and have a track record in working as part of a cross-functional team and providing support to the customer, the production team and the electrical team for installation purposes
- You will have experience creating bill of materials, sourcing bespoke materials and providing feedback to management and customers on work in progress projects.
- You will have a keen eye for continuous improvements and lead the implementation of improved processes and procedures.
- A solid track record in engineering change management, as well as creating work instructions, as well as ensuring adherence throughout the production process.
- You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
