We’re looking for a social media intern, with specialised focus in TikTok, to work with us to execute on the vision we have and make the product more tangible to our users.

The role is a hybrid role based in Johannesburg, South Africa so strong preference will be given to those based in Johannesburg. This role is part-time and you will be expected to come into the office 1-2 times a week.

**What you’ll be doing day-to-day**:
**Social Media**
- Work on and implement social media strategy aligned with overall marketing goals.
- Be on top of industry trends and platform trends.

**Content Creation**
- Create engaging and shareable content, including text, images, and videos, that aligns with brand voice and resonates with the target audience.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and insights for content creation.

**TikTok**
- Planning, designing & implementing all Tik Tok campaigns
- Creating engaging, unique, and compelling content for TikTok
- Managing public comments and customer queries in a timely, engaging manner
- Developing and executing an influencer campaign
- Assisting with creating and editing marketing collateral as needed
- Monitoring and reporting of key KPIs and results of campaigns, feedback, reviews, etc
- Building, engaging and monitoring our community and boosting our brand awareness through events and other creative marketing ideas
- Building relationships with customers, potential customers and industry professionals, in a fruitful way
- Keeping up-to-date with digital technology and women’s health and wellness trends as well as Tik Tok trends

**Platform & Community Management**
- Manage and optimise social media profiles on platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others.
- Managing public comments and customer queries in a timely, engaging manner.
- Monitor platform algorithms and adjust strategies to maximize organic reach and engagement.
- Scheduling evergreen content weekly on Hootsuite and Meta.
- Foster and build an online community through active engagement and timely responses to comments, messages, and mentions.
- Identify and collaborate with influencers and brand advocates to expand reach.

**Analytics & Reporting**
- Use analytics tools to track and measure the success of social media campaigns.
- Compiling key insights from social media accounts which include Meta, TikTok, Twitter and LinkedIn.
- Use reporting and findings to inform brand-specific understanding for continued improvement and innovation in the social media space.

- Tik Tok experience. You have designed, executed and managed successful Tik Tok initiatives before. You know how to leverage all social media tools as well as other tools such as Canva, MailChimp, etc. You have a keen interest in exploring new digital marketing tools.
- Passion. An absolute passion for the social media space - understanding each platform for its own unique features and audiences. Being brave and bold with your ideas and thinking beyond the conventional.

- Experience in an agile entrepreneurial or start-up environment
