Dispatch Coordinator

**DUTIES**:

- Coordinates the team of sorters, packers, and forklift operators
- Monitor VL06G consistently for Local & Export, ensuring local is clear before cut-off times
- Ensure accurate loading (all parts checked) of shipments and adhere to trucks dispatch times
- Ensure all parts are sorted and packed within cut-off times, and no parts left behind
- Ensure Unit Down Orders (UDOs) are packed separately from Stock Transfer Order (STOs)
- Report daily on Picking discrepancies
- Create and distribute daily report: courier times, ageing parts, and performance stats
- Track KPI reports, reason out any deviation from the targets, and take appropriate measures to avoid errors
- Ensure all work equipment is used in proper manner, maintained properly, and is functioning to maximum capacity.
- Supports the shift planning for warehouse employees, by assessing volumes and productivity, and recommending the workforce requirements, planning effectively to ensure picking rates achieved whilst minimising cost (overtime and/or use of contracted labour)
- Monitor and manage picking team absenteeism, taking appropriate action in line with company policies
- Coordinate with others to maximise quality of delivery (time and cost)
- Timeously communication any deviations or delays

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Matric or ABET level 4 numeracy and literacy
- Two years’ experience in warehouse environment
- Basic knowledge of Import/Export
- Basic knowledge of compliance documents for export shipping for zero-rated purposes
- Applicants must have good knowledge of AS400.
- Be computer literate
- Good English communication skills.
- Knowledge of Bell parts.
- Applicants must have some experience in the day to day running of a stores environment.
- Applicants must be prepared to work after hours and weekends when required.
- Must be able to work without supervision.
