**CNC Programmer and Operator**

Atlantis based Company is seeking a dynamic, energetic and responsible CNC Operator to join our team.

**Duties and responsibilities**:
Programming of machines where necessary.

Responsible for the condition of all jigs and forms.

Mechanical fitting and assembly work on machines, including use of power tools.

Ability to read, interpret drawings.

Manage and monitor all quality and quantity produced from machines.

Constant monitoring of machines to ensure maximum productivity.

Must be able to use measuring equipment such as dial indicators.

Maintenance on equipment

General housekeeping in the workshop

**Minimum requirements**:
Matric passed, Fitter Trade Test Certificate or similar.

Knowledge of CNC machines and programming is a must.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and to carry out fabrication from drawings.

Minimum 5 years working experience gained within a manufacturing/technical environment.

Good knowledge of machining processes on mills & lathes

Experience in health, safety, and statutory compliance in a workshop environment.

Sound knowledge of maintenance of mechanical equipment.

Sound knowledge of hand tools and power tools

Valid Driver’s License with own reliable transport

Must reside in Cape Town

Good work ethic and housekeeping habits

Ability to commute/relocate:
