Our client is growing and looking for an **Afrikaan-speaking Field Service Technician** for the Service, Engineering and Projects departments.

The Technician will be a vital support structure to the engineering implementation of systems on a project level, as well as the service of the systems thereafter for our clients.

Must have a valid driver’s licence and speak Afrikaans and English.

**Position details**:
Type: Permanent
Primary Purpose: You will be responsible for servicing, supporting, implementation and installations of systems and equipments for Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems that control heating, cooling, dehumidification, humidification and quality of air.
Travel requirements: In and Around Gauteng

Job description / core competencies:
1) Project commissioning planning with arrangement of electrical and controls needs with engineering and project supervisor.

2) Plan, arrange appointments for services with customers.

3) On-site thinking, management of Work quality and standards and Time frames

4) Liaise with customers and their expectations

6) Manage all service plans allocated to you.

7) Weekly meetings prior and during the course of services and projects. Post mortems of all completed service intervals projects.

8) Supervision/management of contractors on site together with internal team.

9) Safety management and compliance control.

10) Ensures that the work and job is complete according to SANS, SAIRAC standards when it is finished.

**Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience**:
**Language**:

- English, Afrikaans

Qualification:

- Matric, Trade Test Electrician/HVAC/Refrigeration
- Other Qualification: Instrumentation and controls training/ diploma

**Experience**:

- Industrial Process and Industrial installation experience,
- min. 5 years + relevant Field Service Technical experience,
- Wiring; Fault finding; controls, instrumentation.
- HVAC and/or Industrial Processes experience beneficial.

**Skills**:

- Efficient in Microsoft Packages: Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint
- Intuitive and thinks ahead.
- Efficient and hard working
- Good customer relationship management
- Self-motivated
- Willingness to learn

**Experience**:

- Wiring: 5 years (preferred)
- Instrumentation: 5 years (preferred)
- Field Service Technical: 5 years (preferred)
- Industrial Process: 5 years (preferred)
- Industrial installation: 5 years (preferred)
- Fault finding: 5 years (preferred)
- controls: 5 years (preferred)
- HVAC: 5 years (preferred)
