**JOB TITLE: Scissor Lift Operator**

**JOB DESCRIPTIONS**:

- Must be able to access various structures and perform different tasks from the platform
- Must be able to provide safe and efficient loading, transporting and unloading of all guests on aerial or surface lifts
- Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations as well as company rules and regulations
- Assemble and disassemble bins, racks, shelves and tables as needed.
- Assist in maintaining a safe work environment in warehouse.
- Assist in receiving and unloading products
- Carry or transport orders to staging area using necessary equipment.
- Change battery in fork truck when necessary.
- Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source as necessary.
- Change out propane tanks or fill with diesel fuel, depending on the type of forklift
- Check amounts of product as loading / unloading
- Inspect and perform daily maintenance on assigned lift trucks

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Working at Heights Certificate (must be valid)
- Working at Heights job experience (at least 1yr +)

**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 2 months

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Certificate (preferred)
