Vodacom’s number 1 Franchisee (10 Retail branches within KZN and 2 in Sandton) with Head offices in Montclair requires an energetic, dynamic, enthusiastic and tech savvy Product Specialist and Visual Merchandiser.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for increasing sales, training of staff to attract attention to TECH products and providing an excellent customer experience. The goal is to use visual merchandising, better product knowledge and selling skills to increase in store conversion, drive branding and sales objectives as well as maximize profitability.

**Qualities required for the position**:

- Must be tech savvy (smartphones, tablets, laptops, internet of things, gear watches, accessories, gaming, gadgets and routers.

- Must be target driven and hungry to make money
- Quality and attention to detail is essential
- Must have strong leadership skills and able to manage and own your department

**Key responsibilities on store visits via call cycle to ensure**:

- Ensure Merchandising and product placement are as per plan
- Train and develop Sales teams on all products, warranties and soft skills to ensure they become specialists on all products and know how to create sales.
- Manage instore live devices to be experienced by customers to help increase sales
- Managing attachment ratio to devices to ensure targets are achieved daily

Manage daily accessory promotions plan for all stores and ensure sales are grown.

Managing teams Via wats apps and always keeping them on there toes.

Ensuring sales templated posted three times a day for all stores and mange that
budgets met daily
- Constant competitor analysis to ensure we are always ahead of our game
- Work closely with the Marketing department to ensure videos, unboxing of new Products to ensure we always remain front of mind. Ensure we are aggressive with our “go to market” plan taking advantage of all opportunities
- Plan weekly promotions at various malls, exhibitions or high traffic places to drive sales and feet into stores
- Develop the Sales team to be able to assess and evaluate all product returns according to company policies and practices
- Managing redundant/faulty stock and rotations between all retail stores and head Office according to company and supplier policies
- Able to create statistics to manage all gaps per store and manage Store managers to close gaps successfully.

Manage supplier visits and training.

Finding new suppliers and products to ensure new revenue streams created.

**Working hours**:
Retail is detailed and core time for business is weekends and seasonal periods.

Monday 8am - 6pm

Saturday 8am - 4pm

Extra half a day off in the week

Prepared to work weekends when needed due to promotions. Will be required to work on holidays during seasonal times.

**Package**:
Basic salary plus commission (write your own cheque +/- 15k plus opportunity to earn 20k to 30k commission monthly)
