As a Junior Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team and contributing to the company's overall revenue growth. Your main responsibility will be to assist senior sales professionals in generating leads, cultivating relationships with potential customers, and closing sales. This entry-level position provides an excellent opportunity for career development and growth within the sales department.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prospect and Lead Generation: Identify potential clients through various channels, including online research, tender portals, networking events, social media, and cold calling. Build a database of leads to be pursued by the sales team.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with senior sales representatives to schedule meetings, demonstrations, and presentations for prospective clients. Assist in preparing sales materials, proposals, and contracts.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain positive relationships with existing and potential customers. Address their inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Sales Outreach: Initiate contact with potential clients to introduce the company's products or services, highlighting their benefits and value propositions.
- Sales Presentations: Participate in sales presentations to showcase products/services, explaining features, and addressing client needs effectively.
- Sales Metrics: Monitor and track sales activities, documenting lead progress, sales conversions, and other key performance indicators. Prepare regular sales reports for the sales manager.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify potential sales opportunities and positioning strategies.
- Marketing: Assist with the planning and implementation of the company's marketing strategy.
- Training and Development: Participate in sales training programs and workshops to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and communication skills.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and other departments, such as marketing and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience and effective sales strategies.

**Requirements**:

- Educational Background: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required for this role. A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Sales Skills: Demonstrated interest in sales, strong communication skills, and an ability to persuade and negotiate effectively.
- Interpersonal Skills: Positive and professional attitude, good teamwork, and the ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new sales techniques, strategies, and technologies.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

**Salary scale: R7 500.00 to R20 000.00, depending on experience.**

**Transport: Own transport to work.**
