**Duties and responsibilities**

**The position will report to the Regional Manager (Readymix) and will have the following main duties and responsibilities**:

- Customer retention and actively growing of the customer base in all product lines (Aggregates, Ready mixed concrete and cement bricks, blocks and pavers).
- Achieving and exceeding of sales targets
- Preparation of sales quotations, assisting customers with technical advice and attending to queries
- Obtain reliable market intel as input to support our sales strategy
- Sales and budget forecasting
- Target civil, roads and building projects, marketing all our division’s product lines
- Establish, developing and maintaining good customer relationships
- Nurturing good relationships with plant, production and dispatch teams
- Execute all agreed projects and carry out ad hoc assignments

Liaising with credit control i.e. customer’s credit limits and facilities

**Minimum Qualifications / Experience**
- **School Grade**: Matric/Grade 12
- **Tertiary qualification**: Relevant Sales & Marketing and/or Civil Diploma / Degree is a pre-requisite.
- **Driver’s license**: Yes - Valid driver’s License and own reliable vehicle (extensive local travel will be expected)

**Experience**: At least 3 - 5 years’ relevant sales experience in a similar role in construction materials is not negotiable
