GIS Technician - Business Systems
**Requirements**:

- A relevant three-year tertiary qualification
- At least two (2) years' appropriate experience within a GIS

environment
- Proven proficiency in ArcGIS 10.7.1, ArcGIS Pro and MS Office
- High level understanding of operational environments, the technical

nature of GIS networks and the integration of systems
- Registered GIS Technician or eligible for registration will be

advantageous
- A valid Code B driver's licence.

Key Performance Areas
- Capture, edit and maintain datasets in a versioned Geo Database
- Import, convert and geo-reference raster images
- Provide data analysis in order to check, validate and manipulate

data to achieve consistency and accuracy office administration
- Prepare and produce spatial reports and maps as requested by

management
- Provide a technical support service by conducting research to

keep abreast on the latest GIS trends and technology and contribute
to the formulation of the division's performance targets.
